You will primarily be responsible for delivering our “Message” by having meaningful conversations with business leaders in and around Edmonton. You will establish and convert leads into new business for Quercus IT. In your application, be sure to include how you’ve done this before and why you’re thirsting for more.
What You’ll Be Doing
Each and everyday you’ll be having meaningful conversations with business leaders and decision makers, yet not “selling” but rather transforming their thinking about the value we bring in a positive way. You are the messenger. You’ll be managing our prospect database and following a fairly rigid process so that it’s easy for your character to shine through in creating relationships. At times you may be adding kick ass new features to improve the sales lifecycle process and adding in new ideas and ways to engage potential clients. And because you’re so great at offering new perspectives to prospects, you’ll then be helping us to close new deals!

What we need to see from you
- At least 6 months to one year in a sales position
- High degree of Positive Self Image
- Post-secondary education related to Sales or Business
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Expert persuasive skills
- Inspirational people person
- Self-directed, high energy and initiative
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients in sales or relationship management
- Passion for the work
- Understanding of Business (why do we do what we do)
- Must be willing to travel from time to time
